To fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming Jesus Christ through practical compassion, hands-on skill development, clean water, Nuru Children’s home and community restoration, ensuring every soul has the opportunity to hear, believe, and grow in faith.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, sinless in life, and crucified for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory.
The Bible
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, true and trustworthy. It is our final authority for faith and life, and we read it with humility and prayer.
Humanity and salvation
We believe every person is made in God’s image and has sinned. Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and never earned by our works.
Baptism
We believe baptism is for those who have put their faith in Jesus. Going under the water shows that we have died to our old life and been raised to walk in new life with Christ. It is an act of obedience, and it does not save us.
The Lord’s Supper
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a meal of remembrance that Jesus gave to His church. As we share the bread and the cup, we remember His body given and His blood shed for us, we proclaim His death until He returns, and we examine our hearts and are united as one family.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit gives new life, lives in every believer, and equips us to live holy lives and serve others, making Christ known.
The church
We believe the church is God’s people from every tribe, language and nation. Its mission is to preach the gospel, make disciples and plant healthy local churches, where believers give themselves to the Word, prayer, worship, fellowship, service and giving.
Christ’s return
We believe Jesus will return personally and visibly, will judge the living and the dead, and will make all things new. Those who trust in Him will live with Him forever.
